Make a reservation at a restaurant without having to call

Now that valentines day is coming I leave to you guys a good suggestion as I share the creativity of us portugueses.

The name is English, but the service is Portuguese: Best Tables allows you to search restaurants and make reservations for free, without the usual phone call. The tool is available on the Web and the company has now launched an iPhone application.

The service (www.besttables.com) allows you to search by type of restaurant (Japanese, Alentejo or Italian, for example) per dish (sushi, pizza and bread soup) or the name of the establishment. The research may also incorporate features such as proximity, in miles, from where you are located, the price or the existence of promotions. The reservation service gives the user immediate information on available times and lets make appointments just to the hours that the restaurant still has vacancies tables. With three hours in advance, the user receives by SMS, a reminder of the appointment. BestTables The promotion also features dining and provides information about restaurants, as the average price (which is calculated by summing the average value of an input main course and dessert, but excludes drinks), the dishes available and the existence of smoking areas. According to the charge, the system includes 500 restaurants and reservation information is updated in real time.
