Living all alone on a island

He was 46 years old when everything changed in his life. The British Brendon Grimshaw was a veteran journalist with a career made in Africa when he realized where he wanted to spend the rest of his days. It all happened on a visit to the Seychelles, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean in 1972. Upon reaching the Moyenne, a deserted island and in the wild, he realized that it was the right place, or where the coconuts fell to the ground because the vegetation was too dense.

"The moment I put my feet here knew that the island was the right place for me," said Simon Reeve, a BBC journalist quoted by the Daily Mail.

The task of making Moyenne at home was not easy and made the British single for a lack of choice. The island, which Brendon bought for 8000 pounds (now almost 10 thousand euros), had nothing. Not only were the basic conditions of life that were missing on the island. The British (and his helper) was also responsible for bringing birds to the island and also turtles.

Today 120 giant tortoises living there whom Brendon assigned numbers that are painted on the shells. Brendon before the company of the turtles did not live all alone. In 1981 Brendon's father accepted his invitation to go live with him."To my surprise he moved to Seaford in Sussex County to be with me when I was 88 years."

Another point is that is uncompromising in maintaining the Moyenne as a semi-wild area: Brendon said to have refused an offer of an Arab prince who gave him a blank check to be the new owner of the island.

"[I felt alone] only once in life - when I was living in a tiny flat in London. I felt miserable there, never here." He quoted, when questioned if he felt alone in the Seychelles.

SmartWatch with Android

Sony launches SmartWatch, a clock with Android

Watches that function as mobile phones are not new, but this time Sony has this "clock" which is a complement to its Android smartphone.

The Sony SmartWatch was presented at CES 2012 but just now hit the market, including the U.S., with a 1.3 inch screen.

The Sony SmartWatch is a clock that comes with an Android modified to work in the clock , but use your smartphone to make the majority of shares. This was to be an integration with your smartphone which will, besides the use of several applications also use the internet.

The clock is to be seen as a remote control of your smartphone. You can see Facebook or Twitter, and read emails and texting. It also serves to know who's calling without having to remove the smartphone's phone and take action on the clock, rejecting and sending a message indicating it is busy.

This clock appears still limited, it runs through the mobile phone, rather than having an independent use, however, may be a good starting terms of being able to function as a watch mobile at the highest level.

The Sony SmartWatch is on sale for $ 150, no release date for the clock in Europe.

Titanic : 100 years since as sank

I leave you guys with some info I found on wikipedia and one video that I   think it's funny, cuz is mocking with the remake in 3D, despite the tragedy that it was.

The Titanic was an Olympic class ocean liner operated by White Star Line and built at the Harland and Wolff shipyards in Belfast, Northern Ireland. On the night of April 14, 1912, during the maiden voyage from Southampton, England, and New York, USA, collided with an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean and sank two hours and forty minutes later, at dawn on 15 April. Until his release in 1912, was the largest passenger ship in the world.

With 2,240 people on board the sinking resulted in the deaths of 1,523 people, ranking it as one of the worst maritime disasters of all time. The Titanic came from some of the most advanced technologies available at the time and was popularly referred to as "unsinkable" - indeed, an advertising brochure from 1910, the White Star Line, on the Titanic, claimed that he was "designed to be unsinkable." It was a great shock to many the fact that, despite the advanced technology and experienced crew, the Titanic has sunk as not only caused great loss of human lives. The frenzy of the media about Titanic's famous victims, the legends about what happened aboard the ship, the resulting changes in maritime law, as well as the discovery of the wreck site in 1985 by a team led by Dr. Robert Ballard made the history of the famous Titanic persists since.

The fascination with the tragic story of the famous ocean liner was demonstrated when viewing the movie "Titanic" by James Cameron. Shown in late 1997 and throughout 1998, the film 194 minutes long, with a record budget of U.S. $ 200 million, won 11 Oscars and delighted audiences around the world, resulting in the biggest box office in the history of cinema, a total of $ 1.9 billion. With the film's success, interest in the Titanic intensified even more, rising hundreds of books, studies, debates and new theories about the cause of the wreck.

Car #1 - Fisker

After tomorrow will be showing new coupe Fisker. This displays lines similar but smaller size than the first model of the Fisker Karma, a sedan of nearly five meters long which is already available in some markets.

The most notable difference is that the Atlantic should be sold for roughly half the price of the Karma. The Atlantic is the result of the Project Nina, who came to be threatened by the U.S. government's refusal to fund the development of the new model because of delays in delivery of the Fisker Karma and problems in A123 System batteries.
This four-door coupe is equipped with a hybrid system with extended-range, known as the Karma but also the Opel Ampera and Chevrolet Volt. Mix a block gasoline (not connected mechanically to the wheels) and 2.0-liter four-cylinder BMW source and an electric motor, which acts as a generator to keep the lithium-ion batteries charged. Inside there is space for four occupants, thanks to a long wheelbase. The car will be rear-wheel drive with four-wheel drive available as an option. The Atlantic, whose conceptshould not now be far off the production version will be built at the former GM plant in Wilmington, Delaware (USA).
